Andersmusician[edit]

Andersmusician (talk · contribs) Hi, I wanted to be reviewed as something to compare my maintenance editions vs content editions, since from this point on real life, I think I won't continue adding content to articles. Also I need some oppinions on me to see I'm working good, average, low. Thanks all Andersmusician $ 18:06, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • Well, I've watched you work tirelessly on the Wikiproject Peru and its subpages, great job with templates, styles and formats; also at encouraging members to go back to the project, it was as good as dead before you arrived. I have not seen much content-related edits though, and most of them are related to small parts of articles. That's why I'm sorry to hear you are not going to add content anymore. You should try to create an article from scratch, its a great experience. Hope you have time to do the article on La Salle school. As for criticism, check your ortography and grammar!!! Your user page is tagged en-3 (I recall having seen it at en-4 at one time), but somtimes your write like an en-2 or even an en-1. That's about all I can think for know, good luck! --Victor12 01:02, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
My template-infobox--wikiprojectbanners, WikiprojectPeru layout/subpages, some patrol labour at Lima Peru Spanish Empire, related articles. --Andersmusician VOTE 18:13, 28 June 2007 (UTC) (Also trying to make a revival at wikipedia:WikiProject Yu-Gi-Oh!)--Andersmusician VOTE 06:24, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Hopefully, not on this wiki, everybody I've talked to seems nice as far as I know, although by seeing some talkpages, I would say no, but let's get prepared.--Andersmusician $ 18:13, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additionals from Dfrg.msc

Borrowed from Glen (talk · contribs), I'm sure he wont mind. These should test you editing skills, and show if you have any weaknesses which you can work on. So, just write your answer next to the Question. Good luck.

Speedy Delete or not:

  1. CSD1 -
Delete IMO articles about people who participated in The X Factor (TV series) are notable unless they were among finalists. Also because of well defined policies at WP:CSD#A1.--Andersmusician VOTE 02:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. CSD2 -
Delete After having googled some and searching on this wiki, I've found it's a redundant copy (probably accidental) of the Voip.com article. However if this one wouldn't have been there yet, then Keep because the company appears notable since massiv einternet ads I've found after searching at google.--Andersmusician VOTE 02:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  3. CSD3 -
    Delete Blatant WP:CSD#A1, funny though.--Andersmusician VOTE 02:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  4. CSD4 -
Comment Seems to me an easy copy&paste of content at http://www.snippies.com/; however I would need more research on this company, if I wouldn't be convinced enough, then I might call for an AFD so we get idea on its notability.--Andersmusician VOTE 02:16, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  5. CSD5 -
Delete This is a real-life band, however might not be as notable enough for most people, it was indeed formed recently.--Andersmusician VOTE 02:17, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism or or not:

  1. [1]
No although content should be removed becuase of not being related to that section.
  2. [2]
No & Yes It could be labeled as a test by a newbie, although also would be Silly vandalism because of content. Asking the editor would be necessary.
  3. [3]
Yes "Ya Mum" is an American slang but also a bad word.
  4. [4]
No This should go to a trivia section, if acceptable by the scope of WP:POKEMON.
  5. [5]
No It highly depends in the user's experience (this could be labeled as a test or silly edit)
  6. [6]
No I wouldn't label it as vandalism (althought they reverted it inmediatly), adding a personal oppinion isn't vandalism according the policy page. I should add that because this is an abstract topic, edit affirming something might not be always clear.

Have fun! Dfrg.msc 07:17, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't wait for an analysis on this --Andersmusician VOTE 18:47, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1. Good! You could check user, user history, previous warnings. When in doubt, leave it in, but I'd ask for sources or references.

2. Correct. But it is difficult.

3. Correct.

4. Correct.

5. Yeah, borderline vandalism and an unhelpful edit. Test 1 and Welcome.

6. Great!
